My DTS with YWAM

Hello everyone! In September I will be going to Mexico to participate in God's work and a 5-month photography/storytelling Discipleship Training School (DTS), with YWAM. (Click the links if you'd like to learn more about DTS and YWAM.)

My Vision

I would love to someday be able to travel to different parts of the world where M work is being done and take photos to...

partner with God in telling His good story to the lost
shed light on pain, injustice, and spiritual need to inspire support
celebrate the good work already being done
document the beauty of unreached cultures and share God's heart for them

Through this DTS, I will get to...

learn how to better share stories through photography and writing
gain experience using photo storytelling to communicate God's work in the world
learn to use this medium to advocate on behalf of others
share the gospel with people I meet

I also just want to say that it's crazy how I have had money for everything I've needed during this season. There have been so many times when my bank account was at $0 and then I got random money from somewhere. One time I got a random $200 from the government as a tax relief...but then I gave it away to one of my teammates for her Outreach funds, leaving me at $0 again. Haha, God has been teaching me that there is more than enough in the Kingdom of God and sometimes math and logic doesn't matter. Because then I unexpectedly received enough money to pay my bills and buy other things I needed. The Lord provides!!
