The goal of this project was for Campus Rec to promote all their facilities around campus that the Liberty University community could reserve for birthday parties. I knew the main design had to include a lot of text, so I did a few sketches to figure out the best placement for that text and a simple illustration. I wanted the design to be exciting, colorful, kid friendly, inviting, and bold. The vintage nature came after I had already started composing the design. I love it because it reminds me of an ad you might see in a 1960s Life magazine issue.
